What is Forage Market?
We're your online farmers market!
Between kids, school, work and the weather there are always things that get in the way of shopping for local food. Our goal is to make shopping local accessible to every day shoppers who want to support local without the hassle!
As a company, Forage was founded on the premise that buying local food should be easy. We aim to spread ideas of sustainability, food transparency and responsibility to make an impact that reaches far beyond our own business.
Are all the products on Forage Market local to Edmonton?
Yes! We have made it our mission to only sell products that are local to the Edmonton area OR sourced from only Canadian producers. Within every product description is the location of where the item was grown so you know exactly where it came from.
Can I shop in person?
Unfortunately, Forage Market is an online-only service. We do not have a physical retail outlet you can shop at.
How do I place an order?
If you can shop on Amazon, you can shop on Forage!
Browse our e-aisles and add products to your basket as you go. Once you've got everything you need, head to the cart page (found in the top right hand corner) and checkout.
Once your order is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email based on the information you left at checkout. All you need to do now is sit back and feel good about supporting local!
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Paypal, Google Pay & Apple Pay
When will my order be delivered?
We deliver orders on weekdays between 1PM-6PM.
Orders of in stock products placed before 10AM are eligible for same day delivery/pick up.
You also have the ability to schedule your delivery on a day that works for you. You can do this in the Forage Basket page.
What is covered in the shipping charges?
Included in our $12.99 shipping charge is a $1 box fee. The other $11.99 covers the cost to operate delivery vehicles, insurance and drivers pay.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes, you can pick up your Forage order from our warehouse at no charge!

Our pick up hours are:
- Monday: 1PM-5PM
- Tuesday: 1PM-6PM
- Wednesday: 1PM-5PM
- Thursday: 1PM-6PM
- Friday: 1PM-5PM
What are the estimated delivery times?
Orders that are placed before 10AM and only contain products that are in stock will be delivered same day.
Orders that are placed after 10AM and only contain products that are in stock at the time of checkout will be delivered next business day.
Orders that contains any products that are out of stock will be delivered in 3-5 business days.
We deliver orders daily Monday - Friday from 1PM-6PM.
Do I need to be home for my delivery?
While we do suggest being home for your delivery, it is not required. All orders that require temperature control are packed with frozen water bottles (they double as ice packs!) to keep them cool.
If you'd like, you can place a cooler on your front step and our delivery drivers will place your order inside to maintain freshness!
Can I sell my food products on Forage Market?
Since we are not limited by physical space, we are always looking to add more vendors to our market! If you would like to inquire about selling your products on Forage Market please send an email to support@foragemarket.ca
